LEVRA Breakfast Event: Launch of the LEVRA 2025 Human Skills Analysis and Insights Report

On 21 May, LEVRA officially launched its 2025 Human Skills Analysis and Insights Report at a packed Breakfast Event hosted at Milbank LLP in London.

The event brought together L&D leaders, HR professionals, coaches, talent strategists, and business leaders to explore the data-driven Human Skills challenges facing Gen Z in today’s workforce.

The report is the result of three months of research, capturing over 2,700 data points across 31 Human Skills subskills from a diverse learner cohort. Key findings reveal that:

  • Interacting with senior colleagues remains a persistent challenge.
  • Gen Z value collaboration but struggle to execute it effectively.
  • Professional behaviour is a consistent weak area.
  • EQ shows a declining trajectory with age.
  • Conversations around feedback are a critical development gap.

Crucially, the Report doesn’t just diagnose the problem, it provides clear, actionable recommendations for organisations looking to future-proof their workforce:

  • Introduce Human Skills training early in the employee journey.
  • Adopt a structured, experiential approach to learning.
  • Treat Human Skills as a continuous learning priority.
  • Use data to inform and refine development efforts.

Expert Contributors

The event featured powerful insights from our panellists and collaborators:

  • Donald H Taylor – L&D expert, speaker, author, and researcher – introduced the report and highlighted the importance of using data to drive meaningful Human Skills development.

  • Gerianne de Klerk – Chartered Occupational Psychologist at OccPsyence – co-developed the HSF and reminded the audience that so-called “soft skills” are not soft at all, but essential and complex.

  • Rachel Roe, Monique Carayol, and David Haylor – shared their insights about what works and what doesn’t when supporting Gen Z in workplaces.

What our Partners are saying:

“Partnering with LEVRA has been a transformative experience for SBS. The effectiveness of LEVRA’s HSF is clearly evidenced by data demonstrating improved knowledge retention. In the insurance industry (particularly within claims), Human Skills are critical, as we often support policyholders during some of the most challenging moments in their lives. LEVRA not only enables the delivery of this essential yet frequently overlooked training in an innovative and compelling way but also provides the data-driven insights to validate its impact.”

Ollie Davis, Operations Director, SBS Insurance Services

“Leveraging LEVRA’s data-driven approach allows us to precisely identify future training needs for our trainees and apprentices. This innovative platform also provides a safe virtual environment for them to role-play and develop essential Human Skills, ensuring they are well-prepared for real-world challenges.”
