LEVRA's Emily Gill Featured in Non-Billable: Solving the Human Skills Crisis

LEVRA founder and COO Emily Gill has been featured in Non-Billable, the leading publication for UK legal professionals, in an in-depth interview exploring how she left one of the world's top law firms to tackle a problem the industry had long ignored.

After more than seven years at Clifford Chance, Emily made the unconventional decision to pursue an MBA at Oxford Saïd Business School noticing that the lawyers who truly excelled weren't just technically brilliant, but they were the ones who could manage difficult clients, deliver feedback, and collaborate effectively. Yet no one was teaching or measuring those skills.

LEVRA was founded following months of research at Oxford. The platform combines assessment, structured learning, and AI-powered simulated practice across 31 Human Skills, from conflict resolution to presenting and delegating, giving professionals a safe space to build these capabilities through repetition rather than passive workshops.

With hybrid work reducing the informal learning that once happened naturally in the office, Emily believes the need has never been greater: "People aren't learning through osmosis anymore."

LEVRA is now trusted by Deloitte, Google, Grant Thornton, Milbank and others — and Emily's mission is clear: as firms invest heavily in AI tools, human skills deserve equal investment.
